Ashton-- 3 Month Session

Hello Everyone!

I have just finished editing my latest session with a blue eyed beauty named Ashton. You may remember Ashton from when I did her newborn session if you don't click Here
She has done some growing since the last time I saw her, and she is such a doll. She is going to be one strong little girl when she gets bigger. She did great for her session we had to do some time outs for outfit changing & feeding of course then she was good to go. Check out some of my teaser's. Enjoy!

Also, don't forget it's not too late to book your Grow With Me Package! Email me for ALL the details.

Mini Session Dates coming soon!
Have a wonderful day everyone.

2012

It's been a while since I last blogged, so sorry! I have been busy working on new prices & packages for Southern Made Moments Photography, if you haven't had a chance to catch up on the new packages head over to my Website
If you have any suggestions feel free to email me at mkirkphoto@yahoo.com

As I sit here at work, I have been looking at Shellby Adams photography work, now I don't know if any of you guys have ever even seen his work; but it's freaking amazing. He is one of my favorite's along with David Stoecklien but he should be saved for another day. Back to Shellby Adams when I was on his site today I see this quote:

"We enjoy having you here and having things done, we never had before. Ain’t no way we see it any other way, we see it only in a good way. If anything your pictures help, more than anything, you let the people have the books and they enjoy seeingthereselves in the books and what you write up. They always somebody that’s goin to be against you, in everything, don’t care what you do. Your work is original. It’s real life and it’s the way we live. People away from here, they got all they need in life, they got new homes, new car’s. They don’t know what it is to live a poor person’s life. People enjoys livin from day to day, makin it on their own, not out here crookin somebody or stealin something to make it; just makin it, surviving on their own. That’s the way Kentucky people are. We just enjoy doin it, because it’s everyday things. If I go out here today and make enough to survive to the next day, I’m tickled to death. Long, as I’ve got dinner on the table for my family. If I tell a man something, I tell the truth. I don’t lie."

How much simpler can you get? Everyone around us is always complaining about not having enough, not making enough, always needing more, more, more. How hard is it to sit back & just be thankful for what you do have. These people that Shellby Adams photograph's don't live like we do & once you see the images you will understand as well. What is incredible to me is that Shellby will take these people's pictures & brings it back to them & show them what he took, half the people he photograph's has never even seen a photograph of themselves & they live in the same generation that we live in they just live SIMPLE Lives. So with that being said everyone should go visit his blog & check out some of the latest work of Shellby Adams where he shoots in the back hill's of Kentucky! Enjoy!

Hope you realize how good you have it like I do (:
