NEW PROJECT!!!

I have had a request from someone that they wanted to see images of the WHOLE process of tobacco. Some people have seen it in the fields or barns, or have driven by and seen people working in it. Everyone I have talked to know a little about it, but they don't know the whole process of it. So with that being said, I have been taken pictures throughout this year and part of last year for my new project. I intend on making a BOOK of images that tells the WHOLE process of this plant. Just so you know the pictures I have taken have just been of Burley tobacco. Once I get the book made for it I would love to find someone around the area in order to do pictures for Dark Fire Tobacco.

So I am sure you are wondering why are you writing about it, or why are you telling us about it?
The reason I am writing about it is because I want to sell this book to people once I am finished; I would like for people to know what all goes in to this crop. I know if I hadn't been around it all of my life I wouldn't know as much as I do about it.

I plan on uploading pictures into a specific album on https://www.facebook.com/SouthernMomentsPhotography as well as my own personal page for those who haven't gone to my business page and "liked" it. With doing this you will be able to see all the images that will be going into the book.

The book will have written information throughout it informing you what is going on in the image or images. If you would be interested in purchasing a book, please just send me a message. If you would like to wait and see what they book may look like you are more than welcome to.

The Nowicki Family

August 14, 2011 I was able to shoot such a fun loving family-- Kurt, Jeannie, Nate and Mary-Paige along with their dog Libby. I have known this family what seems like forever; but in reality it has only been seven years. Mary-Paige was ready to run around with her dog Libby; but she ended up stopping to take some pictures by herself and with her family. Nate was along for the ride whatever, I asked him to do he did with no complaints. Kurt & Jeannie were a-lot of fun to shoot; I didn't have to tell them to much on how I wanted to capture them, they did that themselves. These are some of my favorites, I hope you enjoy them! 

Morgan's Bat Mitzvah

On August 13, 2011 I got the privilege of shooting Morgan's Bat Mitzvah. I was able to take pictures before and after her ceremony. This family is absolutely beautiful inside and out, they were happy to be a part of Morgan's special day. Morgan's family wasn't the only one's there, she had lots and lots of friends show up and were a part of her day as well. I have posted some of my favorites on Facebook, but I also wanted to post some to my blog that I can't stop going back and looking at. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do. Thank you to Jonathan, Ryan and Morgan for allowing me to be a part of your special day; and choosing me to photograph your beautiful family and friends it was an honor!

Jesse Williams-- Senior!

Sorry to everyone who follows my blog! I have been playing catch up the last two weeks from sessions and editing and posting them online. My lap-top crashed about two weeks and it has been a headache trying to see what was saved and what wasn't. So I am late posting images to my blog.

Two weeks ago I got to shoot a Senior from Hendersonville High School. She wanted pictures of her and her horse Bailey and some with old barns and country looking--- NOT A PROBLEM! I love to shoot out in the country it's way too pretty not to. I have posted some of favorites on Facebook, but I wanted to also post some to my blog that I love as well. Olivia & Jillian Downs

This past Friday August 5, 2011 I had a session with two beautiful little girls. Olivia who is four years old was just full of energy and ready to explore everything. Jillian is just under a year old was ready to walk everywhere her little feet would take her. They were both so much fun to work with, even with the it being as hot as it was. They were definitely troopers walking around all over the place getting their picture made.Thank you so much Emily for allowing me to shoot your two beautiful angels!

Hello World! 

Since my July Special went so well, I wanted to offer another special for the month of August! Thank you to those who booked a session in July, I hope you all enjoyed your session and importantly your pictures! I had a-lot of fun working with all the new clients, keep them coming (: 

I wanted to get some feedback from people before doing another special, but sadly I only got ONE person to respond. So I took her suggestion and it helped my mind get to going on a new special.. 

ARE YOU READY?? 

So let me start explaining this special. This isn't limited to ANYONE, it's for EVERYONE to take advantage of. Have you ever wanted to get a family picture made somewhere that you and your family go to often? For example: if you and your family go to the park often and you have always wanted some pictures made there, or could be someone in your family has a beautiful place to get pictures made at but no-one has done it yet, have you always wanted creek pictures, like I said this can be ANYWHERE. Now is the chance to for you and your family to make this happen, I am not charging a traveling fee like I sometimes do, and you also get a FREE print of your choosing from the session. 

Next, maybe you just had a newborn baby and want someone to come to your home and take pictures of your new bundle of joy, or possibly you have young children that you know would do better in their own environment like their backyard or with their own toys and I would be able to capture their true personality in their own environment--No problem, this is your chance to book your session to get those special pictures made. 

Also Equine lovers, this is your chance to get your picture made with your favorite horse or horses! I can travel to your farm or barn and we can start shooting images of you and your horse in their very own environment. This is your opportunity to get professional pictures made and you also get a FREE print to go along with that experience. I have had it done in the past and it was a-lot of fun, and it was much easier since they were use to their surroundings. 

 Seniors I want to capture your special moment, so why not shoot somewhere you want to get your pictures made at? You can include your car, or pets, friends and anything else that will capture your personality. It won't be like everyone else's pictures, because it's where you want them to be shot at, and you can include what you want in your own pictures.

Last, couples this is your time to get your pictures made at your very own special place. Did you recently get engaged and would like to go shoot where he proposed; or maybe you want to go shoot where you first met, or somewhere where you always spend time together?
