I recently submitted a picture for the local Addy Contest back in January. I decided well this will be my last year in order to do it, so I decided to give it a go. I put one of my favorite pictures that not only do I love; but one that everyone has looked at and couldn't stop talking about it. I titled it "The hands that feed the world."
This is a picture of my father's hands, he has been a farmer for about thirty-six years. I can always remember looking at my father's hands as a kid, and just seeing all the marks, scratches, and scars all over them. It just showed me how much of a hard-worker he really was, and now that I think about it those are the hands that feed the world. Let's face it without farmers where would we get most of our food?
So last Tuesday I attended the award ceremony at PLAY in Nashville, where I was awarded with a GOLD ADDY. What this means is it moves on to regions, and I just hope and pray that it wins there as well. I would love it to make it to the National contest. So everyone please, fingers crossed!

Well just so EVERYONE in the Internet world knows I turn 21 on Wednesday, March 2. I hope now people will stop thinking I am engaged at sixteen(this is a story in itself, but I will not elaborate on that.) I am sure I will still get carded, and I am sure I will get those funny looks thinking it's fake. I still get carded trying to buy dip for Dustin, because people don't think I am eighteen. ANYWAYS, Dustin and I have always wanted a cattle dog. I wanted the wonderful Australian Shepherd, and he always wanted a Blue Heeler. Well one of my brother's friends had a dog that was a Blue Heeler who was bred by an Australian Shepherd so what do you know.. The best of both worlds. So allow me to introduce to you
Whiskey Townsend
I am sure everyone is thinking, why did they need another animal or dog? Well I always wanted a smaller dog to keep inside while my future husband is at work. Yes we have two black labradors; but let me just tell you when they come in you better watch out they are all over the place and I am constantly having to clean everyday to keep the black fur off of everything. They will come in on occasions; but we both wanted a smaller dog for home, and also to work those idiot cows that my dad has. So Whiskey we all have high expectations for you!

Dustin and I have been looking at houses, it has been real fun.<--(sarcasm)What I like he doesn't care for, what he likes I am not so sure about. He is dead set on this home that we went and looked at in Cross Plains with 6 acres, it was a nice home don't get me wrong it was just an odd home. For instance walking into the master bedroom and Dustin hits his head on the ceiling fan! I am sorry, but it was just a weird set up. After looking at homes, I have decided to sell my wonderful mare Sexy Chexy. Dustin and I would like nothing better to have a house with land on it; but after looking at land and homes around the White House area we just won't be able to afford it right off the bat. Yes I could keep her at my parents place, but that is more a pain in the neck then anything and she won't have the attention she needs. So I am doing the responsible thing and putting her up for sale, so someone else can enjoy her and give her all the attention she needs, because she is definitely worth it. So if anyone wants or knows someone who is looking for a great horse please send them my way. Meet Sexy Chexy!
That is about all that is going on with my life at the moment. Wedding plans are coming along we still need a DJ so if anyone knows a great DJ that will keep people out of their seats and dancing send them my way! I will try and put "New Post" up sooner then what I have. I hope everyone has a great week.
